Traveling

"I'll keep my promise Chrono-kun.." Ella said bolting up-right in her bed. "I keep promises.." she muttered laying back down.

Chrono yawned and fell asleep next to the waters edge. He dreamed about the night that his parents were killed and a single tear fell from his eye into the still water below.

Ella got up and decided to walk around the castle. "Stupid emotions... Getting in the way of everything.. Stupid rules saying you can't be with anything part human.." she sighed and walked around and saw Chrono asleep.

Chrono slept uncomfortably as the nightmares continued. He shook slightly as the horrible images Danced across his mind.

Ella looked at him with worry. She could tell he was having a nightmare and sat next to him.

Chrono watched his mother get struck down and he muttered sadly. "Mother..." he cried softly in his sleep as he wept over his mothers dead body in his dream.

Ella looked at him and stroked his hair deciding it was best not to say a thing.

Chrono opened his eyes to look at her. "Ella? What are you doing out here?" He sat up and looked at her curiously. "Where is Ai?"

"Ais inside." Ella said looking out at the pond "And I couldnt sleep...?" She said clearly lying.

Chrono looked down. "Sleeping isn't all that great....." he said trying to work up the courage to ask her. "Ai and you want to leave don't you?" he said looking down at the ground. "I understand if you do."

Ella burst out laughing "Of course we don't~" She smiled but then got serious "I actually just needed to talk to you... About things.." She looked at him thinking about what Ai said about emotions getting in the way of work.

Chrono looked at her not believing her laughter. "About what exactly Ella?" he said looking at her. He had a bad feeling about what was going on.

Ella looked down "It's about what me and Ai were talking about earlier.." she whispered trying to get herself to tell him

Chrono smiled sadly at her. "You can't get attatched to me, I know. I'm part human..." He said looking down. "You can't let emotions get in the way of your work.....that's why they killed my mother."

Ella looked at him "Oh so you already knew that I can't stay here..." She said sadly "I really wish I didn't have to go and leave you.." she looked down "and I wish I could somehow change the rules.."

Chrono lifted her chin and kissed her lovingly. "Don't worry about me Ella." He said smiling at her. "Just go and remember that I will always love you." He stood up and smiled sadly. "Goodbye Ella."

Ella blushed slightly "Chrono-chan.. I'll miss you and I'll always love you.." She said looking at him with sad eyes. "Maybe well meet again.. One day..." She said calling Ai. "Goodbye Chrono..." She said flying off on Ai.

Chrono sighed and went deep into his castle where he sat alone silently. He wished he hadn't let her go. "I miss her already...."

Ella looked back feeling bad she had left. "Ella it'll be fine you'll find a non human" Ai said flying a bit faster "I miss him.." Ella whispered to herself

Chrono went and began looking through the ancient library in the basement of the castle. "There has to be something here."

Ella smiled a bit maybe taking a soul would make her feel better but she was really thinking Dammit Ai if you didn't come and blab about rules this wouldn't have happened..

Chrono searched through piles and piles of books with no success. "There has to be something!!! I have to keep looking."

Ai soon landed in front of a group of people "Yo~" Ella said making a peace sign with her fingers. After a few minutes there was souls floating around her.

Chrono threw a book at the wall. "Nothing!!!!" He screamed to no one. "I have to keep going......I can't lose Ella....."

Ella looked at Ai "All you're." She smiled and threw Ai in the air as the souls disappeared. I miss him... Ella thought to herself.
