Traveling

Chrono walked through the streets of the village and smirked as everyone ran in fear the moment they saw his black armor. They were all such pathetic creatures.His collection of swords were strapped to his back while he searched for a exciting thing to do.

Ella walked through the people running in fear she smiled. She didn't look like what you think a shinigami would look like she would cover her bunny ears with little red bat wings and would wear a red dress. She saw the fear in the people's souls until she walked by one that seemed to cause it.

Chrono looked at the strange women, he could sense something was different about her. It was something familiar. He decided to ignore her and continue walking as he searched for the target he was paid to kill.

Ella looked at him once more. She turned and began following him. She was supposed to head to the next town to collect a soul but following someone who already has to kill was good to.

Chrono kicked down a door into what appeared to be a house. Inside was a massive drug production facility. At the center of the room was a very beautiful women. Chrono smiled and walked over. "Hey there miss." he said sweetly. He chatted wih the women for a minute until she turned around to grab something. At that second he pulled out a katana and sliced her head off before reheating e sword. "Idiot, you fell right into it."

Ella looked into the facility from the door she hid a bit as she watched "Ella-sama are we gonna take her soul?" the scythe keychain asked flying up a bit into Ella's face "just wait I don't know if we should interfere or not.." she smiled

Chrono: threw a sword over his shoulder so it stuck in the door right in front of her face. "Do you need something?" he asked without even turning around. "I don't like being followed. Plus it isn't good for your health." He turned around and took off his helm to reveal a very attractive face with long black hair.

Ella made a surprised face at the sword not hitting her. She sighed out of relief. "I was just wondering if your going to take that soul or not." she laughed nervously before grabbing her scythe off one of the bats on her dress.

Chrono walked over and pulled his sword out of the wall before sheathing it. "I have no need for souls, having one is already more than I need." Chrono said with no emotion in his voice at all. "Feel free to take it, but why do you need it?"

"That's confidential." Ella said walking over to the soul and picking it up. The scythe blinked and the soul disappeared "why did you need to kill her?" she smirked

Chrono pointed a claymore at her throat. "That's confidential." he said with a slight smirk. "I asked first. And unless you want to breath through a hole in your neck I would answer the question."

"Nah. I don't want to answer the question." Ella looked at him thinking it's not like he can hurt me or anything. She laughed at the thought of someone trying to hurt her. It wasn't everyday someone would try to hurt a shinigami -or at least- a girl.

Chrono smirked. "I have killed shinigame stronger than you little girl, I wouldn't be so cocky." Chrono twisted the blade in his hand as he waited for what he said to sink in. "You are not as immortal as you think you are."

Ella smirked "whatevz I don't have to tell you." she began walking off turning her scythe back into a keychain "Ella-sama I think you should be careful his soul seems dangerous." the scythe said flying up a bit

Chrono followed her. "You shouldn't be so unreasonable." He said before creating a blockade of swords in front of her path. "They say communication is one of the greatest values of life." His voice held a slight bit of teasing as he spoke.

Ella took her scythe as it grew she jumped onto it and it started to float in the air. "baka..." she whispered to herself before she fell off her scythe "damn..." she said rubbing her head when she reached the floor "I still don't have to tell you.."

Chrono looked at her as she fell. "You are by far the most entertaining thing I have seen in months." He said trying not to laugh at her. He motioned a finger at his swords and they suddenly flew back into their sheathes.

"..." Ella was speechless as she got up catching her scythe in her hand "I'm not entertaining..." was all she could say as she began walking towards the door.

Chrono smiled a little and followed her. "What happened to all that sassiness that you had before?" he asked with a teasing voice. "did I strike a nerve or something?"

Ella just ignored him and continued walking as the scythe floated over and floated in front of Chronos face "Ella-samas just mad~" it said floating back to Ella

Chrono laughed and did a little front flip over her head and landed in front of her. "Are you mad that I saw you screw up? Or is it just that time of the month for you?" he said with a smirk. "Well its either those or your just bitchy."

Ella stopped walking "mrwp gsdf" she muttered under her breath so he couldn't hear her she looked down and walked the other way

Chrono was having fun so he continued to follow her. "I didn't hear that." he said. His eyes looked over to the scythe. "Would you happen to have a translation for what she said or do I have to keep bugging her to figure it out?"

The scythe floated up "yep~ since me and Ella-sama are connected by soul I can tell!" Ella grabbed the scythe and hooked it back onto one of the bats in her dress "not another peep out of you."

Chrono laughed and poked her. "What are you hiding from me?" He said. "Maybe you said that I'm cute?" he continued. He started to poke her. "Come on tell me."
