Traveling

Chrono sat up. "To start off I am not human....I am something that is not supposed to exist, I am a human, shinigami hybrid..."

"I'm a shinigami usagi hybrid~" Ella smiled "But I've never heard of a human shinigami hybrid..."

Chrono looked at her. "That's because they die....the blood is incompatible. This red mark." he said pointing to his neck. "Was placed by my mother, the shinigami, to keep me alive. But the seal gets weaker. And now the blood mixes, causing me to burn up and go insane, I've learned that having a shinigami near strengthens it....which was my original reason for befriending you...."

Ella looked at him "Mm you sound very interesting I really never knew that human and shinigami hybrids existed..." She smiled softly "I knew about them I just didn't think any were alive- currently that is..." Ai said floating just above Chronos head.

Chrono looked at the two of them. "This castle was my fathers....he, my mother, and everyone here were murdered by other shinigami as punishment for her mating with a human.....I only survived because my mother shielded me with her body....they thought I was dead so they killed everyone and left."

"Intresting.." Ella muttered "Somehow my brother ended up human..." She said frowning a bit at the word brother. "That's because hes a horrible person who's tried to kill you multiple times, stating he mistook you for a rabbit." Ai said "Just sayin'" Ella rolled her eyes

Chrono looked up. "If the shinigami knew I was still alive they would hunt me down until they killed me, or they were all killed. I am an imperfection to them. They hate me for my human half."

"Well guess what I won't tell a soul or a living thing anyway." Ella smiled and tackled Chrono into a hug "I promise~ and if they ever found you they would have to go through me and Ai."

Chrono fell backwards after being tackled by Ella. "Rhank you..." He wrapped his arms around her tightly and smiled. "I can never repay you for this."

"Repaying is for people who can't afford friendship." Ella smiled happily quoting a old guy she met on a mountain.

Chrono laughed a little. "Why do I need friendship, I have a cute girl that's all over me." he said kissing her cheek. He was glad Ella was here, he had been alone for as long as he can remember

Ella smiled and blushed she understood being alone and was glad she was here. "Friendship is still a key item in life~" She said quoting the old mountain guy once again.

Chrono shrugged. "As long as I have you with me I'm fine." he said kissing her. He looked over at the floating scythe. "I guess your not that bad either Ai."

Ella blushed "Yea yea whatever's hey El can I talk to you for a second?" Ai said/asked Ella "Oh sure I guess" Ella shrugged

Chrono stood up and walked away to give them space.

Ella looked at Ai "What?" She asked raising an eyebrow "Remember youre not allowed to get emotions in the way of work..." Ai hissed slightly "And you can't make commitments you know that." Ai said again floating away "Whatever.." Ella muttered

Chrono was curios about their conversation, he could sense I wasn't happy though."

Ella got up and sighed "Why doesn't Ai think I can take care of myself..." she whispered

Chrono walked over. "Is something wrong Ai?" he said wrapping his arms around her. He stroked her hair and kissed her cheek. "You can tell me"

"It's nothing..." They both muttered walking towards Ella's room they'd rather not discuss about it.

Chrono blinked and wondered what was going on with the two of them but he decided not to pry. "Ok..." he watched the two to to their room and then went to his

"Ella we can't stay here.." Ai muttered "Yea we can.." Ella said back as she laid down on the bed "Now be quiet so I can get some sleep.."

Chrono yawned and sat on the edge of his bed. He wasn't in the mood for sleeping, so he sat up and took a walk around the castle. He couldn't stop thinking about the two girls though. Something seemed off.

"Stupid emotions.." Ella muttered in her sleep "Ella-sama.." Ai muttered watching Ella "Stupid Ai telling me what to do..." She muttered again

Chrono sighed and skipped a rock across the pond and sat down at the edge. "Immgoing to end up alone again aren't I?" he said with a sad look. "She won't keep that promise..."
