Lost (Setsuna)

Setsuna heard her singing but decided not to say anything. He slipped a price of food I. The shelter in case she wanted it later. He sat down on a rock with his sword in his lap. He sat in a meditative state. He Had mastered the art of sleeping while awake so he could always deal with any threat.

Tamia saw the food and carefully picked it up. Then she started picking at it little by little. After finishing the food she poked her head out of the shelter and looked at Setsuna. "Thank you." she said as she bowed her head gratefully.

Setsuna opened and eye and looked at her. "Don't mention it, you have an extremely beautiful voice by the way. You should use it more often." He said with a little smile on his face.

"Y-you heard me?" she asked uncomfortably. She looked around making sure no body else was there to have heard her. "I was hoping you wouldn't..."

Setsuna looked at her. "Why shouldn't I have heard you? You have a beautiful voice. You don't need to hide it." He said with a little bit of confusion in his voice.

"I'm not allowed to sing. If anyone hears me who knows what'll happen" She looked around again before finally looking back at him. "Please don't tell a soul what you heard."

Setsuna nodded his head softly. "I understand. You do have a beautiful voice though." he smiled and went back to meditating as he rested. He waited through the night for something to happen but nothing did.

SHe went back into the shelter and layed on her back staring into space. Eventually she fell asleep with a single thought in mind. The thought was, "How much further"

Setsuna stood up and stretched a little. E sun had risen and the time had come to move forward. "It's time to get up." He said to her. "I have breakfast"

She walked out of the shelter yawning and rubbing her eyes. "Morning already I see." she said grumpily. "Where has the precious night gone this time..." she mumbled.

Setsuna laughed a little, the first time he had in a few months. "Not a morning person are you?" he held out some fruit to her. "Eat up. We have a lot of walking to do."

"Morning is the worst time of day." She said as she grabbed the fruit and bit into it. hungrily, she bit into it four more time. "Thank you." She said after wiping some juice from her lips.

Setsuna unsheathed his sword and destroyed the shelter and the fire pit. "We must leave no trace." He took her hand and helped her up before continuing to walk down the path.

Tamia watched their feet so she could keep pace with him. "So what were you doing last night?" She asked curiously.
