Personality: He is an extremely quick learner and uses that skill to learn fighting skills, and general knowledge at a high rate. He also is very wilfull and hard to sway. If he sets his mind to doing something (or not doing something) than he will definately do it (or not do it). To some he may appear to be lazy but it is just a side affect of his fighting style. He likes to meditate and train when he gets the chance and is also well humored. He is very good at coming up with plans.

History: Elbrecht grew up in a small town with only a few citizens. There were only a few kids there and the only one he got along with was Alvy. In the outskirts of the town lived a very old man who was relatively secretive. Elbrecht and Alvy started helping him out with chores and such at the age of 10 and 9 respectively. It became clear over time that the old man had taken a liking to the two of them and was more open to them then he was with any of the other villagers.

When they got to the ages of 12 and 11 the old man started having them do more difficult chores that were really taxing on the body. Everyday the chores would get a little harder and constantly push them to their limits. By the time they were 14 and 13 they were really strong and the old man was having a hard time coming up with chores that were hard for them. It was then that the man started telling them about his past. He told them how he was the last of a line of monks that had mastered using inner chi for fighting techniques.

The old man knew he was getting old and soon wouldn't be able to use these skills, he also knew that he was the only person who still possessed these abilities. Because of this he asked the two of them if they wanted to learn the secrets of his fellow monks to preserve the knowledge of their abilities. Both of them said they thought they would, but that they should ok the training with their parents. While on their way home Elbrecht told Alvy "It all makes sense now.... The ridiculous chores were just training, and seeing if we had the ability to learn these techniques." They both had already made up their minds, before they had gotten home, parents approval or not they would train with the old monk.

Elbrecht had a hard time convincing his parents to let him train with the old man, but he managed to convince them to let him after a long discussion. Both El and Alvy continued training with the old man until they were 18 and 17 which is when the old man decided they were finally ready to learn some chi techniques. He started out by just having them try to gather their chi through meditation. In this training Elbrecht was better at getting chi to gather but once Alvy managed to gather chi he had more according to the old man. After they were sufficient at gathering chi through meditation they moved on to gathering chi while standing and then moving, everytime getting the same result of Elbrecht catching on sooned but Alvy having a bigger reserve. After that they trained on focusing chi in one spot, in this case the tips of their fingers.

Elbrecht could pinpoint his chi to the very tips of his fingers while Alvy could only pinpoint it to his entire hand. The old man assured Alvy though that this was not a bad thing, it just had determined both Elbrecht and Alvy's style of chi. Elbrecht's was precise, and quick, while Alvy's was brutishly strong and close range. They continued training and developing skills unique to them constantly until they were 26 and 25 with El's only exception being his mother and father's deaths, each from different natural causes. When they were 26 and 25 the old man passed away from old age and had left them with the task of preserving the arts he had taught them and passing them on to someone they found worthy when they found someone.

Since then both Elbrecht and Alvy have been wandering around learning skills and fighting styles that are on the verge of extinction to preserve them, due to this El has some unusual close range fighting techniques, and a couple that involve dual daggers, though his prefered fighting style is long range.
