When I registered for the forum and then saw that there was no introductions sub-forum I was disheartened so I do hope people like my idea for the admins to possibly create an introductions sub-forum.

Sure.
Introductions would be OoC and it you may list some things that people can expect out of you and you could also include your own personality and interests, maybe even why you joined the forum.
