Cosplay Cafe

"Oh" Gasai blushed, being embarrassed he didn't know who she was. "Sorry my mother got me this job.." He muttered trying to think of what to say. "I mean... I was at the interview and stuff but she told me to be quiet unless to talk about something important. But besides that I don't think I've properly met her."

Shizumi smiled and shook her head. "Don't worry, you'll probably see her around the Cafe." She said reassuringly. "If you have any questions, you can ask her or me." She said, tail doing a small swish. "But overall, the working at the cafe is fun." She explained. She thought to herself for a second before speaking. "I remember on my first day she said that the customers tend to tip us a lot if we act cute, or speak in different languages." She recalled, half to herself, smiling in amusement.

Naku walked in dressed as Rena Ryugu from Higurashi and say down at a table and thought [i]So this is the Caffe Berry told me about… I wonder how the service and food is?

Gasai looked over and saw the new costumer, "Um I-I'm sorry but the cafes closing soon..." He said smiling at the costumer, trying to hide the shyness but trying to be nice at the same time. "I'm sorry..." He bowed a bit

"Oh but I was sent by Berry Mikan..."

Shizumi's neko ears pricked above her head as the customer walked in. She recognized it to be Rena from Higurashi and she couldn't help but give a small smile. She nodded as Gasai spoke and gave an apologetic bow. She was about to apologize as well when he spoke, saying that Berry had sent him. She tipped her head to the side in wonder. "Berry sent you?" She inquired. She looked at Gasai with a confused smile, a small blush on her face before turning back to the customer.

Naku looked to the other one and said "Well more like she told me about this place and she recommended that I come here and that you might give me a discount because I was her…" Naku stoped herself before she said boyfriend because it would be weird for a girl to say that and she wasn't in her male form. "I'm a very close friend of hers"

Shizumi nodded as the customer spoke. "I see." She said, wondering how close this person was to Berry. She gave a shy smile and bowed politely. "Its nice to meet you. May I ask what your name is?" She asked politely. Even though it was close to closing time, she still liked acting how she did when the cafe was filled with customers. "Berrys a friendly manager, so I'm sure she's good to you." She said, her neko tail giving a single swish.

"Oh right; how rude of me; I'm Naku Nyame. I'm not an average Neko though.

Shizumi smiled and nodded her head in greeting. "Nice to meet you, Naku. I'm shizumi, and this is Gasai." She said, motioning to gasai and smiling at him before turning back to Naku. She listened as Naku spoke again and she nodded. "Nekos tend to have special abilities." She agreed. "I have heightened senses." She said with a small pink blush.

"Mine is rather odd though..."

Shizumi tipped her head a bit to the side in wonder as she looked at Naku. "Odd?" She said. She wondered about what it could be. She had seen others with odd powers, but maybe Naku's was more unique, or rare.

"I can change genders in a second with just the thought of being the opposite gender."

Shizumi blinked and smiled. "I've never seen a neko with that ability." She said. She felt a little curious as she thought to herself for a little bit. "If you don't mind me asking, is this your actual gender?" She asked and then blushed. "Sorry...that was rude of me." She said before bowing apologeticaly.

"It's alright but it isn't my actual gender."

"I see." She nodded. So Naku was a male. She couldn't help but wonder if he were dating Berry, or if he just knew her as a friend. "Oh, is there anything you would like?" She asked, remembering that they were supposed to be serving him.

"Uhm; could I see a menu?"

"Oh of course..." Gasai said going to get a menu, "Here you go." He said returning with one. He out it on the table and smiled at Naku. "I'm Gasai by the way." He smiled.

"Hmmmm. I think I'll just have a hot chocolate and a muffin."

Shizumi nodded with a smile as he spoke. "Alright." She said. She paused for a bit and looked over at. Gasai. "Do you think we can find the recipe that the cooks use in the kitchen?" She asked. The cafe had a certain way of making the foods, which was why it seemed popular among the people in the town.

Gasai quickly nodded, look at Shizumi to Naku. "Sure I guess we could." He mumbled, smiling back at Shizumi, he then shrugged slightly. "But er... Are any of us really, um," He paused, "cooks?" he asked.

Shizumi paused as Gasai spoke and thought to herself for a bit. "Well, I'm no five star chef, that's for sure." She said with a small smile. "But I am able to cook. Its something my mother used to teach me as a child. And since I live on my own now, I practice a lot when I cook for myself." She explained, smiling at Gasai. "I just hope we'll be able to manage." She said.
